This air is then push through your home which balances your in-home humidity. These models tend to be on the more expensive side, but they usually require little to no maintenance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Flow-Through Models<\/strong> &#8211; A flow through humidifier stores water in an evaporator pad that is used to distribute moisture throughout your home. This pad is exposed to a continuous flow of water that always keep it moist. These are efficient and easy to maintain models.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Drum Humidifiers<\/strong> &#8211; This is probably the most basic model available. A motor powers a rotating belt that pass through a small water tray. The water then evaporates off the belt and into the air. This air is then sucked into your ducts and spread around.
